Streisand adds dates to tour schedule

NEW YORK, Aug. 8 (UPI) -- Music icon Barbra Streisand has added several new shows to her North American concert schedule this October, her Web site said.

Her previously announced performances at Brooklyn's Barclays Center Oct. 11 and Oct. 13 are sold out.

"Adding to her previously announced return to Brooklyn, the magic of Barbra Streisand in concert continues this fall with the addition of new live performances in the United States and Canada with special guests Chris Botti and Il Volo," her Web site said.

The other dates announced Tuesday include an Oct. 8 show in Philadelphia, as well as stops in Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Chicago and Vancouver throughout the month.
