JOHNS CREEK, Ga., June 30 (UPI) -- A woman police arrested for trespassing at U.S. recording artist Usher's Georgia home was later admitted to a hospital for mental evaluation, TMZ reported.

Police arrested Darshelle Jones-Rakestraw, 26, Sunday for disobeying a criminal trespass warning they issued to her the day before, a report from the Johns Creek Police Department said.

Usher had seen the woman sitting on his porch using her iPad and called police, who, upon identifying the woman, detained her. Jailers refused to take custody of Jones-Rakestraw due to her apparent mental state, and she was admitted to Emory Johns Creek Hospital for a mental evaluation, the report said.

Jones-Rakestraw insisted she was Usher's wife and that he makes all her decisions, though Usher is currently not married, TMZ reported.

The woman was released from the hospital and is due in court next month to face trespassing charges.
