HOLLYWOOD, April 14 (UPI) -- British music icon Paul McCartney has released three videos for his latest song "My Valentine," featuring actors Johnny Depp and Natalie Portman.
The former Beatle directed three videos for the song from his jazz-inspired album "Kisses on the Bottom," one featuring both actors and the other two featuring them separately, the Los Angeles Times reported Friday.
The videos were officially released to the public Saturday, though a star-studded screening took place Friday at McCartney's daughter Stella McCartney's West Hollywood boutique, The Daily Telegraph reported. Rockers Joan Jett and Gwen Stefani and actresses Gwyneth Paltrow and Reese Witherspoon were on hand for the screening.
The videos are simple and in black and white, featuring the two actors performing sign language to the song's lyrics. Depp plays a guitar part to the song, the Telegraph said.
"Well they're just nice people, some friends from way back, and they were just very kind to do it, I was very pleased to work with them," McCartney said of Depp and Portman.
"Kisses on the Bottom," is McCartney's 15th solo album and features two original songs, "My Valentine" and "Only Our Hearts." The rest of the album is covers of popular jazz songs McCartney loved in his youth, the Times said.
