Perry gave a moving tribute at Houston's funeral in her native New Jersey last month. Houston drowned Feb. 11 in a hotel bathtub in Beverly Hills, Calif., after using cocaine. She was 48.

People.com said no details about Brown's "For Better or Worse" role were available.

The show's second season is in production. The new episodes will premiere in July on TBS.
