NEW YORK, Jan. 2 (UPI) -- Cee Lo Green says he "meant no disrespect" by changing a lyric when he sang John Lennon's pro-peace anthem "Imagine" in Times Square New Year's Eve.

Green was criticized by posters on Twitter and YouTube for singing, "Nothing to kill or die for, and all religion's true," instead of Lennon's original line, "Nothing to kill or die for, and no religion, too," during his performance.
