LOS ANGELES, Nov. 7 (UPI) -- Justin Bieber plans to take a DNA test in two weeks to prove he did not father Mariah Yeater's 3-month-old son, a source close to the Canadian singer told TMZ.

Yeater, 20, is suing Bieber for financial support for the baby. She said her brief encounter with Bieber after a Los Angeles concert last year resulted in her pregnancy. Bieber, 17, has denied the woman's claim.

Bieber's lawyer, Howard Weitzman, informed Yeater's attorneys Friday the pop star will take the DNA test when he returns to the United States from Europe where he has been working, the insider told the celebrity news Web site.

TMZ said Yeater's attorneys didn't return its calls seeking comment on the story.
