LOS ANGELES, Oct. 1 (UPI) -- The producers of a Michael Jackson tribute concert in Great Britain say fans around the world will be able to watch at home over Facebook for just a few bucks.

The Oct. 8 Michael Forever concert in Cardiff, Wales, will be the first pay-per-view show ever shown on Facebook and will be available for 40 Facebook credits, or $3.99.

The Hollywood Reporter said Saturday there is a dedicated Facebook page for the show that will allow viewers to make comments, chat with other fans and, of course, "like" the event. There are also provisions to purchase souvenirs through a shopping cart application.

"The ability to broadcast concerts into every corner of the globe and connect directly with fans through Facebook is the most significant opportunity that can happen within the entertainment industry today," declared Charlie Stuart Gay, executive producer of Ridgeline Entertainment. Ridgeline is co-organizing the show along with Milyoni.

Michael Forever features an all-star lineup that includes the Black Eyed Peas, Cee Lo Green, Smokey Robinson and Christina Aguilera.
