DALLAS, Aug. 30 (UPI) -- Actor brothers Dick and Jerry Van Dyke are to star in a stage production of Neil Simon's comedy "The Sunshine Boys" in Texas, producers announced.

The two will perform Sept. 8-9 at the Eisemann Center in the Dallas suburb of Richardson, and Sept. 10 at Casa Manana in Fort Worth.

"In a rare collaborative performance, Dick and Jerry Van Dyke share the remarkable level of chemistry and on-stage bravado that only brothers share," Five Star Productions said in a news release Monday. "With more than a century of performance between the two, Dick Van Dyke and Jerry Van Dyke are true testaments to the importance of continuously living an active lifestyle, with the pair remaining as sharp, engaging, and entertaining as ever."

A portion of the proceeds for the Richardson shows will benefit the Children's Cancer Fund, the producers said.
