Crosby and Nash to tour Europe

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 29 (UPI) -- Singer-songwriters David Crosby and Graham Nash say they plan to kick off the European leg of their 2011 concert tour with a show in Dublin next month.

The concert in Ireland is set for Sept. 27. Dates in Europe are to continue through Nov. 2, with a final show at Teatro Sistina in Rome.

Other highlights include shows at Bridgewater Hall in Manchester Sept. 30, Royal Albert Hall in London Oct. 8, the Olympia in Paris Oct. 14 and Admiralspalast in Berlin Oct. 20.

Crosby and Nash said they will be accompanied on the road by a backing band featuring James Raymond on keyboards, Shayne Fontaine on guitar, Kevin McCormick on bass and Steve DiStanislao on drums.

The duo's new independent label, Blue Castle Records, is also set to release the HD DVD "Crosby-Nash: In Concert" Oct. 11. The concert was filmed in high-definition at the Palace Theatre in Stamford, Conn., May 22, 2011, during the U.S. portion of the current Crosby-Nash tour.
