LOS ANGELES, July 13 (UPI) -- A female U.S. Marine has invited singer and actor Justin Timberlake to escort her to the Marine Corps Ball in Washington this November.
The invitation was extended shortly after Timberlake's "Friends with Benefits" co-star Mila Kunis accepted Sgt. Scott Moore's YouTube proposal to be his date for the event. Timberlake had strongly urged Kunis to go with Moore.
Fox News said Cpl. Kelsey De Santis, the only woman serving at Virginia's Martial Arts Center for Excellence at Marine Corps Base Quantico, posted her own invitation to Timberlake online.
"So Justin, you want to call out my girl Mila. Well, I'm going to call you out and ask you to come to the Marine Corps Ball with me on Nov. 12 in Washington, D.C.," De Santis said.
Fox News said Timberlake's publicist wasn't immediately available for comment on the invitation and whether he will accept it.
Timberlake's film credits include "Bad Teacher" and "The Social Network."
Kunis co-starred in the movie "Black Swan," as well as TV's "That 70s Show."
