LOS ANGELES, June 28 (UPI) -- Barbra Streisand's next CD will feature songs written exclusively by the U.S. singer's longtime collaborators, Alan and Marilyn Bergman, Columbia Records said.

"What Matters Most -- Barbra Streisand Sings the Lyrics of Alan and Marilyn Bergman" is set for release Aug. 23.

The 10-track CD, which Streisand also produced, is comprised of Bergman songs Streisand has never previously recorded, such as "The Windmills of Your Mind," "So Many Stars," "Nice 'n' Easy" and "That Face."

"What Matters Most" is Streisand's first new album since the September 2009 release of "Love is the Answer," which started out at No. 1 on the U.S. album chart, making her the only artist to achieve No. 1 albums in five consecutive decades.

A deluxe edition of her latest CD will also include 10 previously released performances of Streisand singing the lyrics of Alan and Marilyn Bergman including "The Way We Were," "You Don't Bring Me Flowers," "Papa Can You Hear Me?" and "Pieces of Dreams."

"Alan and Marilyn Bergman have a remarkable gift for expressing affairs of the heart," Streisand said in a statement.
