Eminem, Bieber win big at Billboard awards

LAS VEGAS, May 23 (UPI) -- Eminem and Justin Bieber each won six prizes at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards show in Las Vegas.

Rapper Eminem earned the honors for Top Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album for "Recovery," Top Rap Artist, Top Rap Song for "Love The Way You Lie" and Top Rap Album for "Recovery."

Teen pop sensation Bieber took home the trophies for Billboard.com Fan Favorite Award, Top New Artist, Top Social Artist, Top Streaming Artist, Top Digital Media Artist, Top Pop Album for "My World 2.0" and Top Streaming Song for "Baby."

Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Usher, Taylor Swift, Mumford & Sons and Taio Cruz picked up three statuettes apiece and Katy Perry, Shakira, Chris Tomlin and Train garnered two each.

Presenters for Sunday night's prize presentations at the MGM Grand Garden Arena included Bieber, Selena Gomez, Kylie Minogue, Trey Songz, Scott Weiland and Taylor Swift, Billboard.com said.
