LOS ANGELES, March 7 (UPI) -- Singer and actor Marc Anthony has joined the cast of the U.S. television drama "Hawthorne," TNT announced Monday.
Anthony will again play police Detective Nick Renata, the character he introduced as a guest star in two episodes last season.
His role will be expanded now that he has signed on as a series regular, the cable network said.
The medical drama starring Jada Pinkett Smith and Michael Vartan will return for its third season this June.
