'Golden Voice' man heard in 'Prayer'

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Feb. 23 (UPI) -- "A Survivor's Prayer," a song featuring U.S. celebrity Ted Williams, is for sale on Itunes.com, Amazon.com/mp3 and Rhapsody, Golden Voice Media said.

Williams, a formerly homeless man who has battled drug and alcohol addiction for years, became an overnight sensation as the man with the "Golden Voice" when he was seen and heard speaking with his broadcast-caliber voice on YouTube.

The song "Survivor's Prayer" was composed and produced by studio artists Dan Green, Danny Hargrove and Dean Francis at Amerisound Studios in Columbus, Ohio, and is released as a joint venture with Golden Voice Media, the company said in a news release. The song, with vocals by Taneal, is available for purchase online.

"I wanted a song to symbolize the faith we are given to face our struggles as well as to give thanks for the blessings I have received to be able to help others," Williams said in a statement Wednesday.
