SANTA MONICA, Calif., Dec. 1 (UPI) -- U.S. pop singer Keri Hilson's sophomore album, "No Boys Allowed," is to go on sale this month, Interscope Records announced.

The CD, produced by Timbaland, is to be released Dec. 21 on Interscope/Zone 4/Mosley Music Group.

The provocative title does not mean what some people might think, Hilson said.

"It's not about excluding men. It's more about women understanding that there comes a time in your life when you want a man. A real man. A grown-up. Not a boy. And that's not a bad thing," she said in a statement Tuesday. "I write from a female perspective, but I'm also telling men what women are really thinking and feeling about them."

"Keri's intense focus on 'No Boys Allowed' has been inspiring to both Timbaland and I, in and out of the studio," Polow Da Don, co-executive producer of the album and Zone 4 president, said.
