DETROIT, Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Kid Rock won't have to lament turning 40 in January as his birthday concert in Detroit sold out in 19 minutes.

More than 45,000 seats for the Jan. 15 show at Ford Field were gone Friday, including several thousand purchased in a private presale, the Detroit Free Press reported.
