LOS ANGELES, Oct. 4 (UPI) -- Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle has canceled her planned appearance on "Dancing with the Stars" because she is ill, her publicist said Monday.

"The Britain's Got Talent" runner-up was scheduled to sing "Hallelujah" on Tuesday's edition of "Dancing," but her representative told TMZ she had to scrap her appearance on the U.S. series because she has a throat infection.
