Sara Bareilles planning U.S. concert tour

LOS ANGELES, July 30 (UPI) -- Sara Bareilles is planning a 2010 U.S. concert tour in support of the release of her upcoming sophomore CD, "Kaleidoscope Heart," Epic Records said.

The album is due out Sept. 7.

Bareilles is expected to kick off her tour Sept. 25 in Portland, Oreg., at Roseland Ballroom.

The tour will include 30 major cities across the United States and conclude at the Knitting Factory Concert House Nov. 24 in Reno, Nev.

Supporting acts on the bill are Greg Laswell, Javier Dunn, Cary Brothers, & Holly Conlan.

"Kaleidoscope Heart," which Bareilles wrote and Neal Avron produced, is the follow-up to her Grammy-nominated debut, "Little Voice," which has sold more than 1 million copies worldwide and garnered the singer/songwriter two Grammy nominations for the triple-platinum hit single, "Love Song."
