CHICAGO, June 3 (UPI) -- A renovated 19th century Chicago church where singer R. Kelly once lived is on the market for $3.89 million.

The recording artist moved out of the residence in 2002. It remained unoccupied until Ilene Greenblatt bought it in 2008 for $1 million, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

Kelly was accused of taping himself having sex with and urinating on an underage girl in the dwelling. However, he was acquitted of any wrongdoing in 2008 after a lengthy legal process.

Greenblatt told the Sun-Times she has since made numerous improvements to the home, including the addition of an elevator, 1,500-square-foot roof deck and touch-panel home automation to control features such as the pool temperature and music in the bathroom.
