PHOENIX, Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Rocker Glenn Frey has been booked to headline the entertainment at next month's Celebrity Fight Night XVI in Phoenix, organizers said Tuesday.
The event is to take place March 20 at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa.
Muhammad Ali is to receive a special introduction from Grammy Award-winning producer and "American Idol" judge Randy Jackson.
Joining Frey, a member of the iconic group the Eagles, will be Grammy Award-winning country music star Reba McEntire, who will return for her fifth year as emcee, as well as 15-time Grammy Award-winning songwriter and producer David Foster, who will serve as musical director for his 11th consecutive year.
Scheduled to receive the Muhammad Ali Sports Achievement Award is IZOD IndyCar Series and NASCAR driver, Danica Patrick.
Hollywood film producer Jerry Weintraub is also expected to be honored with the Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Award, while Forbes 400 businessman and philanthropist Walter Scott, Jr. will be recognized with the Muhammad Ali Business Leadership Award.
The Celebrity Fight Night Foundation has raised nearly $60 million during the past 15 years. The nonprofit organization was founded in 1994 by Jimmy Walker to support the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, as well as numerous other charities.
