Timberlake named Hasty Pudding man of year

BOSTON, Jan. 26 (UPI) -- U.S. pop star and occasional actor Justin Timberlake has been chosen as the Hasty Pudding Theatricals' 2010 Man of the Year, The Harvard Crimson said.

Timberlake, 28, performed last Friday on the "Hope for Haiti Now" telethon that raised more than $61 million for victims of the Jan. 12 earthquake.

He is to be honored at a roast by Harvard University's theatrical troupe Feb. 5, the Crimson said.

Anne Hathaway is to be honored as the Pudding 2010 Woman of the Year Thursday.
