NEW YORK, Nov. 19 (UPI) -- The pop music duo Daryl Hall and John Oates have signed on to "play" themselves on the animated U.S. comedy, "The Cleveland Show," Legacy Recordings said.

The musicians are to lend their voices to their cartoon alter-egos in Sunday's edition of the show.

"Cleveland celebrates his first Thanksgiving with his new family, as well as his own parents, Cookie and Freight Train, and Donna's Auntie Momma," Legacy said in a news release Thursday. "The holiday gets complicated when Roberta and Federline decide to celebrate on their own and Cleveland discovers a surprising secret about Auntie Momma. Guest voices Daryl Hall and John Oates appear as an angel and a devil to help Cleveland decide if he should expose Auntie Momma's secret."

Legacy said this marks Hall and Oates's first appearance on the show; however, viewers can anticipate seeing them pop up in future episodes, as well.
