'Despicable Me 4' tops North American box office with $75M

July 7 (UPI) -- Despicable Me 4 is the No. 1 movie in North America, earning $75 million in receipts this weekend, BoxOfficeMojo.com announced Sunday.

Coming in at No. 2 is Inside Out 2 with $30 million, followed by A Quiet Place: Day One at No. 3 with $21 million, MaXXXine at No. 4 with $6.7 million and Bad Boys: Ride or Die at No. 5 with $6.6 million.

Rounding out the top tier are Horizon: An American Saga -- Chapter 1 at No. 6 with $5.5 million, Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot at No. 7 with $3.2 million, Kalki 2898 AD at No. 8 with $1.8 million, The Bikeriders at No. 9 with $1.3 million and Kinds of Kindness at No. 10 with $860,000.
