Sam Worthington, Jean Reno join 'Lift' ensemble on Netflix

June 10 (UPI) -- Avatar icon Sam Worthington has joined the ensemble of The Italian Job director F. Gary Gray's next movie, Lift.

Netflix said Thursday the cast will also include Jean Reno from Da 5 Bloods, Jacob Batalon from Spider-Man: No Way Home and Burn Gorman from The Offer.

Kevin Hart and Gugu Mbatha-Raw were previously announced to star in the action flick.

"An international heist crew is recruited to prevent a terrorist attack, and must pull off the heist on a plane mid-flight," a synopsis said.

Gray's other films include Friday, Set it Off, The Negotiator, Law Abiding Citizen, Straight Outta Compton and The Fate of the Furious.
