Jordan Peele releases new poster for upcoming horror film 'Us'

Dec. 14 (UPI) -- Jordan Peele has released on Twitter a new poster for his upcoming horror film titled Us.

The poster, uploaded on Thursday, features two hands gripping a golden knife. The right hand is wearing a leather glove while the person holding the knife is wearing a red outfit.

"Watch yourself," Peele captioned the image.

Peele is writing, directing and producing Us, his next thriller following the release of 2017's Get Out. Us is set to arrive in theaters on March 15, 2019.

Peele also tweeted on Thursday that the first trailer for Us will be released on Christmas day.

Lupita Nyong'o, Winston Duke, Elisabeth Moss, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Anna Diop, Tim Heidecker, Shahadi Wright Joseph, Evan Alex, Madison Curry, Cali Sheldon and Noelle Sheldon are set to star.

Get Out, which tackled themes of racism, was a critical and commercial success earning $255 million worldwide. Peele won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for the film which was also nominated for Best Picture.
