Photo offers first look at 'Little Women' cast in costume

Dec. 13 (UPI) -- The official Instagram account for the upcoming film adaptation of Little Women posted a photo of stars including Emma Watson posing with director Greta Gerwig.

The photo, tweeted by Watson before becoming the first post on the film's newly-created Instagram account, shows Ladybird director Greta Gerwig posing with stars Watson (Meg March), Saoirse Ronan (Jo March), Florence Pugh (Amy March), Eliza Scanlen (Beth March) and Timothee Chalamet (Theodore Laurence).

The photo offers a first look at the actors in their costumes from the upcoming film, an adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's 1868 novel of the same name.

Little Women, due out in December 2019, also stars Meryl Streep, Laura Dern, Bob Odenkirk and Chris Cooper.
