'Vice' leads with 6 Golden Globe Award nods for film

Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Terry Crews, Leslie Mann, Christian Slater and Danai Gurira read aloud the nominations for Golden Globes in Los Angeles Thursday morning.

The Globes recognize excellence in film and television, and are presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Winners are to be announced on Jan. 6 at a gala to be hosted by Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg.

The film Vice led the field with six nominations, while The Favourite, Green Book and A Star is Born each earned five nods apiece. Amongst the television nominees The Assassination of Gianni Versace had the most with four.
