Kravitz and Glusman held hands as they arrived at the event. Kravitz wore a strapless black sequin gown with a pink bust and large bow in back, while Glusman sported a black suit.

Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Jude Law, Ezra Miller, Dan Fogle, Alison Sudol and director David Yates also attended the premiere. The movie co-stars Johnny Depp, who was absent from the event.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is a sequel to the 2016 film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. The movies are inspired by the book Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling.

Kravitz plays Leta Lestrange in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, which opens in theaters Nov. 16. She recently discussed the character, the biggest role for a person of color in the Harry Potter franchise, with the Los Angeles Times.

"I thought it was really important," she said. "And this takes place in the 1920s, so what was it like to be a person of color in this world at this time?

"She might have been one of the only children of color in Hogwarts at that time," she added of Leta. "She's an outcast and whether it's spoken about or not, I associate that, of course, partly with what she looks like."

Kravitz announced her engagement to Glusman in the November issue of Rolling Stone. Glusman, an actor known for Love, Nocturnal Animals and The Neon Demon, proposed in February after a year and a half of dating.
