Returning for the movie are show stars Ian McShane, Timothy Olyphant, Molly Parker, Paula Malcomson, John Hawkes, Anna Gunn, Dayton Callie, Brad Dourif, Robin Weigert, William Sanderson, Kim Dickens and Gerald McRaney.

Directed by Daniel Minahan, the followup was written by David Milch. The western-themed drama ran for three seasons 2004-06.

The sequel was first announced in July.
