Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Will Smith and Martin Lawrence have confirmed on Instagram that they will be reuniting for a third entry in the Bad Boys series. "It's been a LOOOONG time Coming. But now it's Here! @BadBoys For Life We back!! @martinlawrence," Smith said on Thursday alongside a video of himself and Lawrence on a beach.

The third film in the action-comedy series will be titled Bad Boys for Life. Smith and Lawrence will be reprising their roles as Miami detectives Mike Lowery and Marcus Burnett, respectively.
"It's official baby! It's official Bad Boys 3 is happening!" Smith says excitedly in the clip.
Bad Boys for Life has a release date of Jan. 17, 2020. Filmmakers Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are set to direct the film in place of Michael Bay who helmed the first two films.
