June 26 (UPI) -- A new breed of alien hunters has arrived in the second trailer for The Predator from director Shane Black.

The clip, released Tuesday, features star Sterling K. Brown (This Is Us), explaining to a science teacher played by Olivia Munn (X-Men: Apocalypse), that on-board a crashed spaceship is a new type of Predator that has become stronger and more deadlier.

The new threat is seen easily taking out an original Predator as a group of ex-soldiers led by Boyd Holbrook (Logan), try their best to fight back and survive against the most lethal hunters in the galaxy.

"The hunt has evolved," the trailer says as Holbrook's team and other government personnel are seen being killed by a Predator.

The Predator is the fourth installment in the sci-fi action series that began with 1987's Predator starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Black, who also starred in the original, co-wrote the script with Fred Dekker. Jacob Tremblay, Thomas Jane and Keegan-Michael Key also star.

The film is set to arrive in theaters on Sept. 14 after it was pushed back from releasing on Aug. 3.
