May 1 (UPI) -- Blake Lively scrubbed her Instagram account Monday to promote her new film. The 30-year-old actress deleted all of her photos and unfollowed her friends, including husband Ryan Reynolds, in support of her movie A Simple Favor.

Lively replaced her biography with the question, "What happened to Emily?" She also followed 28 people named Emily Nelson, some of whom expressed their confusion online.

Lively plays a character named Emily Nelson in A Simple Favor. The film stars Anna Kendrick as a blogger who investigates her best friend's (Lively) disappearance from their small town.
"I've always been looking for a kind of Hitchcockian-style thriller. This one provided that," director Paul Feig told Hollywood Streams at CinemaCon in April. "Lots of great twists and turns, but also two very fun, compelling characters."
A Simple Favor opens in theaters Sept. 14.
