Feb. 27 (UPI) -- Reese Witherspoon and her lookalike daughter dazzled on the red carpet Monday. The 41-year-old actress and 18-year-old daughter Ava Phillippe attended the Los Angeles premiere of Witherspoon's movie A Wrinkle in Time at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.

Witherspoon was all smiles in a sparkling, floor-length red gown as she posed for photos with Ava. The teenager wore a simple black minidress with strappy sandals.
Witherspoon was also accompanied by her son Deacon Phillippe, although the 14-year-old did not walk the red carpet. Witherspoon and Ava both shared photos and videos with Deacon on Instagram Stories.
"We are so excited to go see A Wrinkle in Time," the actress said in one clip before asking her kids, "What's A Wrinkle in Time?"
"A book!" Ava and Deacon respond.
A Wrinkle in Time co-stars Oprah Winfrey, Mindy Kaling and Storm Reid, and opens in theaters March 9. The movie is based on the Madeleine L'Engle novel of the same name, which both Ava and Deacon have read.
"[They're] really excited," Witherspoon told Entertainment Tonight at the premiere. "They know everything, and I can't wait to hear what they think."
Witherspoon shares Ava and Deacon with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, and 5-year-old son Tennessee with husband Jim Toth. She couldn't help but gush about Ava this month after enlisting her daughter to star in a new Draper James campaign.
"There is nothing like the love I have for my daughter. We share every emotion with each other other, our hopes and dreams," the star said. "We can talk for hours!"
