Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly suit up in new 'Ant-Man and the Wasp' photo

Jan. 17 (UPI) -- Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly are ready for action in the latest on-set photo from Marvel's upcoming Ant-Man sequel, Ant-Man and the Wasp.

The photo, released Tuesday on Twitter, features Rudd and Lilly in full costume as Ant-Man and Wasp complete with their hi-tech helmets.

Lilly's Wasp costume is similar to Ant-Man's costume, but it's bronze instead of red, with a helmet that features a bigger visor.

The Wasp was teased at the end of 2015's Ant-Man during an end-credits scene that featured Lilly being presented with the costume by her father played by Michael Douglas.

Ant-Man and the Wasp, from returning director Payton Reed, will have Douglas returning to the role of Hank Pym and will also star Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne, the mother to Lilly's Hope van Dyne and the original Wasp who was believed to be dead.

Ant-Man and the Wasp is set to arrive in theaters on July 6.
