Jan. 11 (UPI) -- The Teen Titans dress up as Wonder Woman and make fun of Aquaman in the first trailer for Teen Titans GO! to the Movies.

The clip, released Wednesday, gives fans their first look at the film which is based on the Cartoon Network animated series of the same name that follows a group of young superheros including Robin, Starfire, Beast Boy, Cyborg and Raven and their whacky adventures.

The Teen Titans are seen wearing Gal Gadot's outfit from 2017's Wonder Woman claiming that it's what audiences would rather see.

"Wonder Woman inspires people," Raven says before Starfire adds, "And we do not."

The trailer also includes the Teen Titans fighting a giant purple robot who begins farting once Beast Boy pokes a hole in him.

"If Aquaman can get a movie, anyone can," the narrator says at the end in reference to the upcoming Aquaman film starring Jason Momoa.

Teen Titans GO! to the Movies is set to release on Aug. 3, 2018. The film will feature the voice talents from the animated series including Greg Cipes as Beast Boy, Scott Menville as Robin, Khary Payton as Cyborg, Tara Strong as Raven, and Hynden Walch as Starfire along with Will Arnett and Kristen Bell in unspecified roles.

"It seems to the Teens that all the major superheroes out there are starring in their own movies-everyone but the Teen Titans, that is! But de facto leader Robin is determined to remedy the situation, and be seen as a star instead of a sidekick," reads the synopsis.

"If only they could get the hottest Hollywood film director to notice them. With a few madcap ideas and a song in their heart, the Teen Titans head to Tinsel Town, certain to pull off their dream. But when the group is radically misdirected by a seriously super villain and his maniacal plan to take over the Earth, things really go awry. The team finds their friendship and their fighting spirit failing, putting the very fate of the Teen Titans themselves on the line!"
