Dec. 23 (UPI) -- The first preview for Jimmy Kimmel's second consecutive turn at hosting the Oscars gala in Los Angeles has been released.
"All I want for Christmas is for you to watch me host the 90th Oscars, March 4 on ABC. And a jet pack," Kimmel said in Friday's brief clip.
The promo ends with the comedian and talk-show host wearing a jet pack and blasting off, while shouting, "Thanks, Mom!"
The Academy Awards -- or Oscars -- celebrate excellence in film for the previous year. Nominations will be announced Jan. 23.
