Prince William and Prince Harry were greeted by BB-8 and Stormtroopers on the red carpet. The siblings joined the film's stars, including Daisy Ridley, Mark Hamill, John Boyega, at the event.

"The Force is strong on this red carpet! #thelastjedi," Kensington Palace tweeted alongside posts from the premiere. "A quick chat with Luke Skywalker before #thelastjedi starts!"

Prince William and Prince Harry were later presented with Stormtrooper helmets. TMZ reported the pair will cameo as Stormtroopers who appear in the movie alongside Tom Hardy while guarding Boyega's character, Finn.

Prince William and Prince Harry had visited the Star Wars: The Last Jedi set in April 2016. The film co-stars Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac and late actress Carrie Fisher, and opens in theaters Dec. 15.
