Nov. 14 (UPI) -- Comedians Nick Kroll and John Mulaney are to host the Film Independent Spirit Awards ceremony in Santa Monica, Calif., for a second-consecutive year.

"Excited to be hosting the @FilmIndependent #SpiritAwards again with @Mulaney on @ifc march 3rd! Can't u tell from our expressions?" Kroll tweeted Tuesday, along with a photo of him and Mulaney holding balloons and looking distressed.

"The only thing better than having Nick Kroll and John Mulaney host the Spirit Awards is having them host the Spirit Awards twice. They did such an amazing job last year and we're thrilled to have them back in 2018," Film Independent President Josh Welsh said in a statement.

"From the minute Nick and John opened last year's show, we knew we wanted them back to host this year," IFC President Jennifer Caserta said, adding the pair "knocked it out of the park last year and we can't wait to see what they have planned for this year."

Kroll and Mulaney starred together in Broadway's Oh, Hello. A taped version of the show is now streaming on Netflix.
