Oct. 23 (UPI) -- Celebrity couple George and Amal Clooney dazzled on the red carpet Sunday.

George was all smiles in a navy suit next to Amal, who wore a strapless dress featuring a print in shades of blue. Baria wore a sheer tunic with an attached boa over a strapless teal jumpsuit.

Suburbicon was directed by George, who also co-wrote the movie with the Coen brothers and Grant Heslov. Matt Damon, Julianne Moore and Michael D. Cohen, who star in the film, were also present at the premiere.

George opened up about Ella and Alexander, his 4-month-old daughter and son with Amal, while discussing Suburbicon in an interview with Extra prior to the event. He and Amal welcomed their twins in June.

"[Alexander] weighs three more pounds than his sister," the new dad shared.

"They're born with personalities," he added. "Ella is very elegant and dainty. She has these big, beautiful eyes -- she looks like Amal. [Alexander's] just a thug. He'a a fat little boy, he laughs louder than everyone in the room. It's the funniest thing."

George said he wanted Suburbicon to be thought-provoking while also "entertaining" and "fun." The movie, which also stars Oscar Isaac and Noah Jupe, opens in theaters Friday, Oct. 27.
