Oct. 16 (UPI) -- Ryan Reynolds shared on Instagram a collection of on-set photos from Deadpool 2 in celebration of the film wrapping up production.

"That's a wrap on DEADPOOL 2: A SONG OF FIRE AND ICE! Thank you to our beloved Captain, Mr. @davidmleitch... words are too clumsy to properly acknowledge your giant heart and talent," Reynolds wrote Sunday, alongside the series of photos as he jokingly related the sequel to Game of Thrones.

"I love my hometown of Vancouver and our obscenely gifted crew. From our PA's, (who are first in and last out) to our set decorators and prop department, riddling this film with Easter Eggs in almost every scene... Thank you," he continued.

"I already miss being on set. Which is why I've decided to continue shooting the film in my underwear from Josh Brolin's well appointed living room. #MaximumEffort," the actor said in reference to his Deadpool 2 co-star Josh Brolin who is portraying time-traveling mutant Cable in the film.

The photos Reynolds posted include looks at the film's production crew including makeup and costume artists along with looks at the two swords Deadpool regularly uses.

Previously, Reynolds and Brolin have shared on social media various behind-the-scene looks at Deadpool 2 including an image of Brolin in full-makeup as Cable and a photo of the X-Mansion hinting that once again Deadpool will be crossing paths with the X-Men.

Directed by David Leitch, Deadpool 2 is set to arrive in theaters on June 1, 2018 and will also star Zazie Beetz as mercenary Domino, Leslie Uggams, reprising her role as Blind Al, and Julian Dennison.
