Dobrev turned heads in a white Prabal Gurung dress with tiered pleats and a black and white belt. She completed her ensemble with a metallic clutch and pointed-toe pumps with studded straps.

"World meet Bob. Bob... world," she captioned a photo of her look on Instagram.

Dobrev said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that she cut her hair "about two hours" before the event in preparation for her new film Lucky Day.

"It's for a new movie I'm doing," she explained. "I play a Parisian woman who's an artist. They wanted me to cut my hair... and I don't know. I couldn't have been more excited to do it."

Flatliners is a sequel to the 1990 film of the same name starring Kiefer Sutherland, Julia Roberts and Kevin Bacon. The new movie co-stars Ellen Page and Diego Luna, and was produced by original producer Michael Douglas.

"[It was] absolutely incredible," Dobrev said of working with Douglas.

"He's a legend and an icon," she gushed. "I look up to Michael in so many ways. And it was so great to have him, he was so present. he was there on set every day. I worship the ground he walks on -- but don't tell him!"

Flatliners opens in theaters Friday.
