Dunst was radiant in a sheer Rodarte dress with ruffle detail and gold floral embellishment. She accessorized with a boa made of real flowers and a matching floral piece in her hair.

Woodshock is directed by Rodarte founders Kate and Laura Mulleavy, and co-stars Game of Thrones actor Pilou Asbaek. The movie follows a woman (Dunst) who falls deeper into paranoia after taking a deadly drug.

"This film is about transformation," Kate said in a recent interview with Salon Talks. "Whether it's transformation of the mind, the body. And it's also about, I think in a lot of ways, about questioning the path that you take, the decisions that you make and the impact that it has."

Dunst first met Kate and Laura 11 years ago and was the first actress to wear the sisters' designs.

"I think I've always led by my own barometer of what I want to see and what I want to be a part of and what's going to be pleasurable for me," the star said of the film.

"I've been doing this so long as well," she added. "So for me, it really needs to be a meaningful experience, a cathartic experience, and it's always the best when you're surrounded by your friends."

Woodshock opens in theaters Friday, Sept. 22.
