'It' kills at the North American box office with $117.2M in receipts

Sept. 10 (UPI) -- The killer clown movie It is the No. 1 movie in North America, earning $117.2 million in receipts, BoxOfficeMojo.com announced Sunday.

Coming in at No. 2 is Home Again with $9 million, followed by The Hitman's Bodyguard at No. 3 with $4.9 million, Annabelle: Creation at No. 4 with $4 million and Wind River at No. 5 with $3.2 million.

Rounding out the top tier are Leap! at No. 6 with $2.5 million, Spider-Man: Homecoming at No. 7 with $2 million, Dunkirk at No. 8 with $1.95 million, Logan Lucky at No. 9 with $1.8 million and The Emoji Movie at No. 10 with $1 million.
