Will Smith shares first photo of 'Aladdin' cast

Sept. 7 (UPI) -- Will Smith shared on Facebook the first photo of him with his castmates from the upcoming movie musical, Aladdin.

"We just started shooting Aladdin and I wanted to intro you guys to our new family... Mena Massoud/Aladdin, Naomi Scott/Princess Jasmine, Marwan Kenzari/Jafar, and I'm over here gettin my Genie on. Here we go!" he captioned the group selfie.

Smith holds the camera and smiles as his co-stars gleefully point at the lens.

Guy Ritchie is directing the live-action remake of the 1992 animated classic.
