"Here's what we know. The men who broke into the Watergate are not the end of this but the beginning," the actor says of the scandal that involved five men breaking into the Democratic National Committee headquarters and which ended with President Richard Nixon's resignation.

"The White House has no authority over the FBI... No one can stop the driving force of an FBI investigation. Not even the FBI," Neeson also says as he grapples with White House officials and with those within his own organization.

Mark Felt, from director Peter Landesman, also stars Diane Lane, Michael C. Hall, Josh Lucas, Tom Sizemore, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Ike Barinholtz, Noah Wyle, Kate Walsh, Bruce Greenwood, Maika Monroe and Brian d'Arcy James and arrives in theaters on Sept. 29.
