Ali Wong, Randall Park to star in upcoming Netflix comedy feature

Aug. 15 (UPI) -- Ali Wong and Randall Park are set to star in an upcoming Netflix comedy feature.

Wong and Park who worked together on Fresh Off the Boat, penned the screenplay for the project along with Michael Golamco (Please Stand By), Deadline reported.

The still untitled film will follow Wong and Park as two childhood friends who grow up in different socioeconomic situations before they fall in love as adults.

Netflix is searching for a director to helm the feature, reported The Wrap.

Wong currently stars on American Housewife and has worked with Netflix before on her comedy special Baby Cobra. Park, in addition to appearing on Fresh Off the Boat and Veep, will next be seen in Marvel's upcoming superhero sequel Ant-Man and the Wasp.
