D23: Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito confirmed for Tim Burton's 'Dumbo'

July 15 (UPI) -- Production is underway on the live-action version of Disney's 1941 animated classic, Dumbo.

The announcement was made Saturday at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, Calif.

The elephant tale is being directed by Tim Burton, and will star Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito, Eva Green, Nico Parker and Finley Hobbins. The movie is set for release on March 29, 2019.

Burton, Keaton and DeVito previously worked together on 1992's Batman Returns.
