July 6 (UPI) -- Warner Bros. Pictures has released a new, action-packed, one-minute trailer for its upcoming World War II epic, Dunkirk.

"She'll fight on the beaches, she'll fight on the landing grounds, she'll fight in the fields and in the streets. We shall never surrender," a voice can be heard saying of Britain and its allies as various, harrowing skirmishes appear on the screen and a ticking sound creates tension in the background.

Tickets for 70MM engagements of the thriller went on sale Wednesday -- two days prior to when tickets become available for regular screenings of the film.

This release of Dunkirk in 70MM will be the widest in the format in 25 years. Starring Tom Hardy, Harry Styles, Kenneth Branagh, Mark Rylance and Cillian Murphy, the movie is due out July 21.

"I have been a longtime proponent of film -- particularly the IMAX film format -- as a storytelling medium," director Christopher Nolan said in a statement. "The immersive quality of the image is second to none, drawing the audience into the action in the most intense way possible."
