'Despicable Me 3' tops the North American box office with $75.4M

July 2 (UPI) -- The animated movie Despicable Me 3 -- featuring the voice talents of Steve Carell, Kristen Wiig and Miranda Cosgrove -- is the No. 1 movie in North America this weekend, earning $75.4 million in receipts, BoxOfficeMojo.com announced Sunday.

Coming in at No. 2 is Baby Driver with $21 million, Transformers: The Last Knight at No. 3 with $17 million, Wonder Woman at No. 4 with $16.1 million and Cars 3 at No. 5 with $9.5 million.

Rounding out the top tier are The House at No. 6 with $9 million, The Beguiled at No. 7 with $3.3 million, The Mummy at No. 8 with $2.8 million, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales at No. 9 with $2.4 million and All Eyez on Me at No. 10 with $1.9 million.
