June 1 (UPI) -- 20th Century Fox released the first trailer for its upcoming mystery film Murder on the Orient Express on Thursday.

"There is something about a tangle of strangers pressed together for days with nothing in common but the need to go from one place to another and never see each other again," a voice says as the trailer shows a cast that includes Johnny Depp, Judi Dench, Penelope Cruz, Kenneth Branagh and others on a luxurious train traveling across snow-covered mountains.

Directed by Branagh, the adaptation of Agatha Christie's classic detective novel "tells the tale of thirteen strangers stranded on a train, where everyone's a suspect," according to a caption that accompanies the trailer. "One man must race against time to solve the puzzle before the murderer strikes again."

The movie is set for release on Nov. 10.
